Dr Qureshi’s Profile
Dr Tif Qureshi is pioneer Inman Aligner dentist; he was the first dentist in the UK to use the Inman Aligner and has since completed over 500 cases using the aligners. He qualified in 1992 from Kings College London and has since has a rich and varied career in dentistry. He is currently a partner as Dental Elegance in Sidcup, Kent, where he undertakes restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Additionally he is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, where he plays an active role.
Dr Qureshi is a board member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an organisation that promotes cosmetic dentistry in the UK, particularly focusing on the use of orthodontics to try and reduce the use of tooth preparations for cosmetic dentistry cases. Tif is particularly interested in this technique and is a great believer in the use of the Inman Aligner to prepare patients for procedures such as veneers, reducing the need for invasive and painful tooth preparations. He now spreads the philosophy of using orthodontics such as the Inman aligner in partnership with cosmetic techniques, at lectures across the UK and worldwide. The demand for these lectures has been so great that Dr Qureshi now runs his own course to teach cosmetic and general dentists these revolutionary new ideas. Dr Qureshi believes that the use of the Inman Aligner in this way has signalled a new dawn for minimally invasive and ethical cosmetic dentistry.
