Hi, I planning on getting my teeth straightened and need advice on what braces I should get and the costs involved. This may also require me to get a veneer (I think) on my upper left central incisor and a complete whitening at the end of the enire procedure. I am 23 yrs old and have never had braces before, so I would like to make the right decision on what type of brace would be best suited to me, along with the time scale and costs. I chipped my upper central left incisor when I was about 10 and currently have a filling making the tooth complete, however the filling is discoloured. What would you recommend as the best method of treatment for this? veneer? With regard to straightening on my upper teeth, my right lateral incisor has grown behind my right central incisor and right canine. This makes my right sided canine stick out instead of growing straight down. I was told by a dentist that the only way to fix this was that my right lateral incisor would need to be removed so that my canine could move into the right position. My left sided canine also grows a little out of position and my left lateral incisor grows downwards but at a little angle. I have not given much thought to my bottom teeth as they are more less fine although the front four bottom teeth (central & lateral incisors) have not grown in perfectly rounded, but rather form a straight line themselves and may require straightening. I have tried to describe my teeth as best possible and was wondering based on the above if you could tell me what what braces I should look to go with and the costs involved. I was hoping you could answer. I would like to thank you for your time and appreciate any advice you can give me.
