I have damaged my front teeth but I do not have a dentist, what should I do?

August 10th, 2012
Q.

I have recently returned from living overseas and as of yet I do not have a dentist.
Whilst living abroad I fell down a set of stairs at home and cracked my front two teeth at the bottom. At first I didn’t see the cracks as they are almost invisible but as they were causing me pain I looked in more depth and spotted the cracks.
What is the best treatment for these? So, far I have been cautious when eating hard foods but it is starting to take over my life.Locally there are no dental surgeries as i live in a small village but the private clinics in the bigger cities seem overwhelming and I haven’t got a clue about any of the treatments available Any advice would be great!

Is a root filling safe to have with the Inman Aligner?

July 16th, 2012
Q.

Hi! I am soon to start my treatment with Inman aligner but I am a bit concerned about one of my front upper teeth. The two front upper teeth are tilted inwards and are also a bit rotated against eachother. After an accident twenty years ago one of them had to be treated with rootfilling. Is it really safe with IA for my tooth? It has always been more tender and also a bit thinner since the treatment. I had it bleached from within seven years ago and the result is still ok. There are also some fillings done to my front teeth, will this be of any concern? I am looking forward to hearing your advice and I would like to thank you in advance for any advice or help you can suggest to me. Thank you and kind regards

I know you can;t see those bottom teeth now,but as I get older you wll and i would like to sort out the problem right now. My bottom teeth are generally crooked and crowded near the front of the mouth and i just think they look so ugly. I would very much appreciate if you could give me any information on the inman aligner in conection with this problem. I have consider fixed braces but am worried that the cement they use would take the enamel off the front of my teeth-what do you think doctpr?

Could you explain how the Inman Aligner brace works?

April 16th, 2012
Q.

Hello Tif I hope you don’t mind me saying but I am a bit confused by exactly how the inman aligner works. I understand the machanisms of normal metal braces or in layman terms I think I do but the idea of the inman aligner and the two components working together goes way over my head. Which is a shame as I think this treatment could work well for me – if only I knew what it could do with my condition. Would you be able to put it in to layman terms for me please? I hope to get me teeth sorted as soon as possible you see.

Can the Inman Aligner close gaps between the front teeth?

March 23rd, 2012
Q.

Is it ok to have the inman aligner for straightening out problems to do with gaps between the two front teeth? I would really like to have a front tooth gap closed up as quickly as possible, after putting up with it for several years!!! Would it be a good idea to have the inman aligner with this, would that be the fastest way do you think? I was toying with the idea of using invisalign braces, but they seem to take longer and then i thought about fixed braces, but they are just really ugly and kinda felt that the inman aligner would be the middle ground. Am i right in saying this do you thinlk?

thanks very much for your time dr qureshi

Is it possible to push teeth forward with the Inman aligner?

February 9th, 2012
Q.

Is it possible to push teeth FORWARD with the inman aligner? I have teeth that kind of slant inwards, which has always made me look a little ratty. I of course would like to change this and because the inman aligner has a bar along the front and back I was kinda hoping that it would be the best solution for me? What do you think-am I barking up the wrong tree? :)

if I am can you tell me what brace is the best brace for me to straighten out my particular problem?

thank you for your time Doctor Sepehrara

My daughter has had the Inman Aligner for two days and still finds it painful, what can she do?

January 16th, 2012
Q.

My daughter had an inman aligned fitted two days ago and it is really painful to take out . The two teeth that are being moved are very sensitive around the gum and she feels the teeth feel wobbly, and she can’t bite into anything when it’s out.she almost fainted with the pain trying to take it out this morning.is this normal, her own dentist is closed today, and we have no one to find out if this is normal .Can they be fitted too tight? It’s the pain of getting them over the plastic bars behind her teeth that is causing the most pain. While in situ it is fairly comfortable.

I have an overbite, is the Inman Aligner a good option for correcting this?

November 17th, 2011
Q.

what is the hardest thing for the inman aligner to straighten out? I’ve got, well i guess it would be classed as an overbite, when the top jaw sticks out a lot further than the bottom jaw, is that right? Anyway! is the inman aligner a good option for me or should i be looking at other treatment instead? I would want the most discreet treatment possible, but if i needed to have fixed braces if it was the only option available i think i would be good with that. If it was possible to have that treatment how long do you think it would take to fix my teeth?

thank you

Is 14 years old too young for the Inman Aligner?

November 2nd, 2011
Q.

do you take patients who are 14 years old? I have big front teeth that also stick forwards and people make fun of me at school. I would like to have this treatment because the website says it is fast and that it doesn’t show up as much as the braces with the wires glued to your teeth. I am only 14 years of age but i do have all of my own teeth and i keep them very clean so none of them are rotting or anything. Can you give 14 year olds the inman aligner to straighten their teeth or am i too young to have it? If i am too young when will I be old enough to have it?

thank you doctor
