My daughter had an inman aligned fitted two days ago and it is really painful to take out . The two teeth that are being moved are very sensitive around the gum and she feels the teeth feel wobbly, and she can’t bite into anything when it’s out.she almost fainted with the pain trying to take it out this morning.is this normal, her own dentist is closed today, and we have no one to find out if this is normal .Can they be fitted too tight? It’s the pain of getting them over the plastic bars behind her teeth that is causing the most pain. While in situ it is fairly comfortable.
It is normal to feel discomfort in the first few weeks of treatment and different people tolerate pain in different ways and may need painkillers. If you are still concerned I would recommend she sees her Inman aligner dentist. Hope this helps and I hope she finds some relief for her pain Dr Sepehrara
